Raw salted chocolate  snack bars

Here is a recipe for raw salted chocolate snack bars:


  • 1 1/2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


  1. In a food processor, pulse the almonds and cashews until they are coarsely chopped.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Pulse until the mixture comes together and forms a sticky dough.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Press the dough into an 8×8 inch square pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
  6. Cut into bars and serve.
